Title

An Experimental Investigation on Strength of Concrete for Sustainable Constructions by Replacement of Fine Aggregate with Manufactured Sand and Coarse Aggregate with Recycled Coarse Aggregate

Abstract

This research paper is about experimental study on the on the properties of concrete on the effect of recycled coarse aggregate collected from the demolished concrete waste and manufacture sand (M-sand) as fine aggregate collected from stone crushing quarry dust. The coarse aggregate is replaced by 25% with recycled coarse aggregate and it is put constant for all mixes. The fine aggregate is replaced by 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with manufactured sand. From the result, it is noticed that the strength of M20 Grade concrete mix when its coarse aggregate is replaced with 25% by recycled coarse aggregate and 100% replacement of fine aggregate with manufactured sand is giving better results in all the hardened concrete properties tested at different ages.
