Title

Touchscreen and Voice-Control based Robotic Vehicle for Industrial Store Management

Abstract

The concept is made to operate a robotic vehicle remotely using a touch screen display unit. On the transmitting side, RF control signals are transmitted using the touch screen remote control. The task is carried out by a pick and place robotic vehicle at the other end in response to the signals. For the desired operation, a microcontroller from the 8051 series is employed. At the transmitting end, directives are delivered to the receiver via a touch screen control unit to direct the robot's movement in various directions, such as forward, backward, left, or right. Four motors are connected to the microcontroller at the receiving end; two of them are used to move the robot's arm and grippers, and the other two are used to move its body. With the right antenna, the RF transmitter can be used as a remote control with a range of up to 200 meters. The receiver decodes the signal before passing it to another microcontroller, which uses the motor driver IC to drive the relevant motors. This robot's soft catching arm, which is intended to prevent additional pressure from being given to the object, is its key advantage. The idea may be improved even more by connecting it to a wireless camera so that the person in charge can watch the arm and gripper in action from a distance.
