The present study attempts to highlights on the Mapping of Social Media and its Application in Libraries. Social media tools are important in each and every discipline now days. The Library and its services are mostly dependable on social media in this internet age. It acts as a media between the library resources and its users. This paper basically highlights the availability of different types of social media tools. The advantages and disadvantages and the importance of social media tools in Library. Also briefs the use and its application in library services. This paper aims to give a brief overview of the social media tools in particular to library activities. The paper is based on Scientometric analysis of total 255 research articles contributed by the authors in Social Media and Application during 2018-2022 on Scopus database. It was found that in the degree of research collaboration was calculated and the degree of collaboration ranges from 0.88 to 0.98. i.e. it increased gradually in this study. It was seen that researchers use latest documents. Universities are the major contributors. In this context, we described various popular author, article, and journal-level metrics in this article. We assume that this compilation would help novice authors to know and understand various scientometric indices and their calculation methods.
