Conjunctivitis, sometimes known as "pink eye," is a common ocular ailment that affects people of all ages all over the world. The purpose of this review article is to offer a thorough overview of conjunctivitis, including its genesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and current therapy techniques. In most cases, conjunctivitis is a mild and self-limiting condition. However, it can be more severe in some cases, especially in people with underlying health conditions. Through this comprehensive review, we aim to equip healthcare professionals and researchers with up-to-date knowledge and evidence-based insights into conjunctivitis, facilitating better understanding, early diagnosis, and effective management of this common ocular ailment.
