Title

A Study of Levels of Career Aspiration among Senior Secondary School Students of Central Kashmir concerning the type of schools.

Abstract

Career is the human beings’ metaphorical “journey‟ it is the considerations and sentiments of young people about themselves. Someone designated having a positive self-idea when accepting a look at himself as happy, cheerful, and prepared to control them and have a variety of limits. the current investigation makes an effort to explore the career aspiration among senior secondary school students in Kashmir. The objectives are to study the career aspiration of senior secondary school students and to study the career aspiration of male and female government and private senior secondary school students. The tool was used and developed by Sarita Anand’s Career Aspiration Scale 2015: it contains 30 Items divided into five areas Dedication, Motivation, Realization, Self- Confidence and Preparation. Data has collected from 360 students out of which 180 (boys) and 180 (girls) through a Disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. Results depict that the highest career aspiration among female senior secondary school students as compared to male and private senior secondary students have high career aspiration than government senior secondary school students in Kashmir, J&K.
