Through language and words, literature as an art portrays objective reality. Literature is the medium that conveys the image of art, which is distinct from music, sculpture, painting, and other art forms. Literature should free from all materialistic things and to be free and not to be enclosed in time and space constraints, it should showcase a variety of vibrant social and accurately depict the intricate and sensitive inner world. Literature and the development of linguistic skills go hand in hand. Literature can pique students' interests in language acquisition, offer rich and vivid resources, give them the impression that they are immersed in the language, and unwittingly complete the acquisition of vocabulary, penetration of grammar, and construction of linguistic skills. The ability to produce language also develops concurrently with the ability to comprehend. Linguistic skills improve from simple comprehension and expression to complex understanding and literary expression as literary literacy advances. English language and literary research has a significant impact on the development of kids' linguistic skills.
