Women form an important segment of the labour force and economic role played by them cannot be isolated from the total framework of development as the role and degree of integration of women in economic development is always an indicator of economic independence and social status. The objectives of the present study are: 1. to study the women participation and implementation of Welfare Programmes; 2. benefits from welfare programmes to study the women economic development of the respondents 3. to study the Problem faced by the different programmes; Respondents of Ramachadrapuram and Vamalapeta Mandals mostly benefited from Govt.
