ABSTRACT Covid-pandemic is an externality to which organizations are responding variedly, but central to that response are the people whose proximity to social capital resources have diminished considerably, therefore shifting people interfaces which was recognized as social capital to people-tech interfaces. In pursuit of exploring this shift, the paper explores the contextualities of social capital theories and their impact on organizational settings. Different social capital theories have been navigated and the evidence suggest that organizational response to virtualization will have a significant impact on Social Capital and its dimensions, as organizations are gearing up towards virtual adoption of business models and interfaces.
