A STUDY ON INVESTMENT BEHAVIOUR OF EMPLOYEES IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES

Abstract
ABSTRACT: The study examines the investment behavior of salaried employees, focusing on the behavioural factors influencing their financial decisions, risk preferences and asset allocation patterns. Using a survey based approach, the research explores the effect of demographic variables such as age, gender, qualification, experience and annual income on investment choices. It also study the behavioural factors like risk tolerance, loss aversion, psychological factors and gambler fallacy. Simple random sampling method is used for the study. The response has been collected from the employees in manufacturing industries. Primary and secondary data were used for the study. The primary data was gathered from questionnaire and we received 140 response from investors.
