Review of Epidemic Analysis Ontologies
Abstract
On the one hand, Machine Learning has proven its efficiency to analyze and predict epidemics evolution if the adequate data is used. On the other hand, Ontologies are a strong way to unify the understanding of information among people or software agents. In this context, we study the use of Ontologies to guide the data scientists and the data engineers to adopt the more meaningful data for the Machine Learning models aiming analyzing and predicting the epidemics evolution in general by taking Covid-19 as an example.
