This research paper explores the complex dynamics involved in curating indigenous knowledge within the context of libraries. As repositories of cultural heritage and traditional wisdom, libraries play a crucial role in preserving and disseminating indigenous knowledge. However, the integration of traditional wisdom with modern information science presents unique challenges and opportunities. This paper examines various strategies and approaches employed by libraries worldwide in balancing the preservation of indigenous knowledge with the principles of modern information science. The study incorporates case analyses, theoretical frameworks, and practical insights to provide a comprehensive understanding of the curation of indigenous knowledge in library environments.
