It is modern era, every one run with the crowd and one doesn’t think or aware about their potential. Present time there is cut- throat competition, if individual cannot put their feet according to the race of world. It hurt their self-esteem and inner peace of individual. it is required that we focused upon the inner peace grow with strong self-esteem. Spiritual practice is a source of inner peace. Om chanting is one of every strong spiritual practice that influence all over growth of individual. The intention of the current study was to study the effect of om chanting on self-esteem upon adolescents. The participants were 30 adolescents’ college going students from the N.I.I.T Najibabad. Both genders were considered with the age range between 15 and 19 years, Self-Esteem Inventory developed by Prasad and Thakur (1977) was used for the data collection. The results of the study revealed that there was significant effect of om- chanting on self-esteem.
