Resistance to microbes to the available synthetic antimicrobial agents is a major public health concern worldwide. Infectious diseases cause half of the death of community every year. There are various plants registered against infectious diseases in ayurveda. Given study focus on Jamun churna used in infectious diseases and their minimum inhibitory concentration of their extracts as well as their phytochemical investigation. The in-vitro antibacterial activity of non- polar solvents perform by Kirby Bour disc diffusion method and their MIC perform by resazurin based 96 wells microtiter plate method. Phytochemical analysis of active extracts performs by using respective chemical methods. Result provided evidence that methanol extract of Jamun churna capable to MIC and their phytochemical analysis reveals the presence of tannin, phenol, and flavonoid phytochemicals in given extract.
