Where welding or joining is a process in fabrication industries there is a main problem of Residual Stresses and Distortion. So FEA exploration on such a residual stresses are reviewed in this column which occurs after welding process in the metal sheet of ASS (Austenitic Stainless Steel ). Distribution of residual stresses which are arises after welding is quite composite. This column also includes the scrutinization of residual stresses using X-ray diffraction technique. The method of Shielded Metal Arc Welding is also known as Manual Metal Arc Welding is studied and in this process stainless steel temperature field is gained.
