Title

EMOTIONAL STABILITY OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN RELATION TO THEIR SELECTED VARIABLES

Abstract

The present investigation is an attempt to study the relationship of Emotional stability and academic achievement of high school students. The sample consists of 394 high school students of class IX which consists of 146 boys and 248 girls. The investigator employed normative survey method to collect data. Emotional stability questionnaire developed and standardized by Psy-com services(1995), New Delhi was used by the investigator to carry out the study. The investigator adopted stratified random sampling technique to collect the data. The findings of the study revealed significant relationship between emotional stability and academic achievement. Further significant difference was observed in emotional stability with respect to Gender, Locality, Type of Management.
