India is an ever growing market for education sector. This study tried to find out “Effects of Total Quality Management on the Performance of Educational Institutes”. The main concern of the study was to find out the effects of TQM practices especially Top Management Commitment, Customer Focus and Employee Involvement on performance of educational institutes or on Organizational Performance. The study adopted quantitative approach to study effects of TQM practices on organizational performance. Target population comprised of 200 school tutors from three different schools from Rewa District of Madhya Pradesh. Questionnaire was used to collect primary data. The descriptive and inferential analysis and testing of hypothesis was done taking the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software. The study found at that the three principles Top management commitment, Customer focus and Employee Involvement have positive effect on the performance of educational organization. By improving these aspects organizations can improve overall performance of their organization.
