Title

Estimation of Error in Runge-Kutta Fehlbergs Method

Abstract

Five ordinary equations with boundary conditions have been solved with the help of Runge-Kutta Fehlbergs method and compared with the exact values. It has been observed that the Runge-Kutta Fehlbergs method is accurate up to 10 digits after the decimal point at some points. Average of maximum errors indicates that Runge-Kutta Fehlbergs method is at least accurate up to two digits after the decimal point. The average of maximum errors and maximum percentage errors has been found to be 0.0011957857183 and 0.0733067638714 respectively.
