Electronic consumer relationship management (E-CRM) plays a very important role in the success of a modern day firm. Unlike traditional CRM, E-CRM does not include complex process for implementation. This study tries to explain the understandings of various researchers about E-CRM. CRM software assists online business firms to manage customer relationship and augment customer experience competently. It also helps businesses to optimize the marketing programs and use marketing analytics for reflecting future strategies. E-CRM in services enhances patron satisfaction thereby increasing the business return on investment. The results of various studies are reflected here.
