Title

Studies on Certain Physico-Chemical Parameters of Nag River of Nagpur City, Maharashtra

Abstract

The present work was undertaken to study the water quality of Nag river of Nagpur of Maharashtra state. The study revealed the presence of anthropogenic activity in river which is one of the serious concern .The river flows across the city and carrying drainage as waste water throughout Nagpur.The present investigation was therefore undertaken to study Physico-chemical Parameters such as temperature, pH, turbidity, total dissolved solids, dissolved oxygen etc. For qualitative study water samples were collected from the selected sampling centers at monthly intervals i.e., August and December.
