Title

FRICTION STIR PROCESSING: A REVIEW

Abstract

Friction stir processing (FSP) is technique to change the properties of materials by intense, localized plastic deformation. Friction stir processes are rapid, environmentally friendly and also founds its wide application in today’s manufacturing industry such as aerospace, marine etc. The present study is done to observe the outcomes associated with friction stir processing. The overall contributions presented by different authors have been illustrated in the paper.
