Abstract

‘Coming out’ in the society for a person who belongs to marginalized section of society has been taken as an individual act by the concerned person. But the act is a complete process of accepting new ways of life and shedding of many accepted norms of a society so the act cannot be an individual act but it has many social dimensions. It gives individual as well as community a new dimension and way to lead life.
