Regional study is an important approach to geographical studies. therefore, it becomes necessary to study geographical area on regional basis to get knowledge of its immediate surroundings. Regional Studies provides opportunities for in depth study of some of the major challenges facing individuals and groups living and working in the particular region. These challenges include economic development; urban poverty and income inequality; preserving and promoting culture, architecture and art; land use conflicts; and sustainable transportation and housing services. Socio cultural is a term related to social and cultural factors, which means common traditions, habits, pattern and beliefs present in a population group.
