Abstract

Johny Dathees4 PG and Research Center of Chemistry, Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women, Periyakulam, Theni District, Tamilnadu. ABSTRACT Nanoparticles synthesis has its great impact in recent times due to their advantageous properties and varied applications. Research on green production methods for metal oxide nanoparticles is growing with the objective to overcome the potential hazards of these chemicals for a safer environment. The present work reports a simple, cost effective and eco- friendly method.We have explored an inventive contribution for synthesis of silver nanoparticles using MUNTINGIA CALABURA L(FRUITS), CITRUS RETICULATA LEAVES , extract. The procedure for the development of stable silver nanoparticle is rapid and simple. Synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by various methods, such as UV-Vis spectroscopy,FT-IR, SEM, XRD and Antimicrobial activity.
