According to research done on Nyctanthus arbour herbarium specimens this genus shares taxonomic relationship with the Oleaceae. The microscopically anatomy of the vegetative organ of Nyctanthus arbour tristis has been studied since it is now customary to include anatomical data when seeking to address difficulties of this nature. This article gathers a thorough examination of the information that is currently known about Nyctanthes arbor-tristis morphoanatomical phytochemicals and their ethnobotanical characteristics.
