In general, the term "diaspora" has seemed to refer to historical mass dispersion of an unintentional character, such as the expulsion of Jews from Judea and the emigration of Greeks following the fall of Constantinople. The term "diaspora" is occasionally used to describe the spread of human civilization over the globe. Diaspora and the diasporic state are symbolised by the origins of the prehistoric human and the subsequent spread that led to the establishment of human civilizations in various locations around the globe. Diaspora is typically used to refer to a homogenous group of individuals who have been geographically dispersed, such as indentured servants or slaves who were primarily employed by the Empire and are frequently referred to as exiles or expatriates. The lineage of these expatriates is included within the scope of this standard term.
