Abstract
In this paper, I would like to bring out the comprehensive life and navigational achievements of Vasco Da Gama, who will be remembered forever for his contribution to the international relations. His discovery of sea route to India not only made Portugal wealthy but also laid foundation for the capitalism as a dominant mode of economy. His life story is full of adventures and responsibilities. In fact, he has changed the way we looked at the sea as a mere geographical entity.
