Remote access and data communication render networks vulnerable to various threats. Thus, network security is essential for data sharing and communication. This article emphasises network security in IT systems and reviews contemporary network threats and security remedies. The main goal is to prevent hackers from accessing secured data and provide a secure communication device for consumers. The review also examines network threats and data web security procedures. The report proposes new research directions to advance research. This paper discusses network security for secure data communication.
