Review of Clustering Approaches in 5G Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

The deployment of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) within the 5G ecosystem has garnered significant attention due to the increasing demand for real-time data analytics and reliable communication in diverse applications. Clustering, an effective technique for organizing sensor nodes into groups, plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of 5G WSNs. This paper presents a comprehensive review of clustering approaches tailored for 5G WSNs, aiming to provide a deeper understanding of the state-of-the-art techniques, challenges, and potential directions.
