Oneofthemostessentialcomponentsoftheinternationaleconomyisthetravelandtourismsector.Itplays a role in the expansion of national economies, the creation of new employment opportunities, andthepromotionofafavorablepublicimage.ThisbusinessisalsoaccountableforasizeableportionofthecashthatgoesintotheoverallproductionofGDPincountries.Inordertogainanunderstandingofthe efficiency with which a specific industry is operating, it is necessary to have access to statistical dataregardingthatindustry'scurrentstateandtomakeuseofup-to-datemethodsofdataanalysis.Thiswillallowonetorecognizepatternsintheevolutionoftheindustry,aswellasdeterminedependenciesandthe values that are expected to be displayed by various indicators. The use of multiple regression modeling is one of the seapproaches. This study explores how much of a contribution the Tourism Industry makes to forecasting the economyof the Tirunelveli District in the state of Tamilnadu. During the period of analysis 2010-2022, this studyexamines the link among the factors of the hotel sector's gross domestic product and the associatedpredictorvariables:hotelnightstays,hotelarrivals,andhotelindustryinvestments.Usingthemethodofmultipleregression,IwasabletodeterminethatinvestmentsandthenumberoftouristsvisitingarebothsignificantpredictorsofthevariablerepresentingGDP.Onthebasisofthesefindings,Iwasabletoidentifypartsofthemarketingstrategythat,inmyview,meritexpenditureandhaveastrongchanceofmakingapositiveimpactontheexpansionoftheclienteleofbusinessesofferingtouristwelcomingservices
