Voltage source inverters (VSIs) are key components in numerous power electronic systems, enabling the efficient conversion of DC power to AC power with variable voltage, frequency, and waveform characteristics. This paper presents a comprehensive review of voltage source inverters, covering various technologies, control strategies, and their applications in different fields. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the advancements in VSI technology, highlighting the key challenges and future research directions.
