Title

Design and Fabrication of Robot Using Klan Mechanism

Abstract

This project aims to design and analyze a Klann mechanism for robotic locomotion. focusing on its potential applications and performance characteristics. The Klann mechanism also known ustheKlannLinkage,isa legged locomotion mechanism inspired by tie natural movement of animals. lt offers advantages such as energy efficiency. simplicity, and versatility, making it suitable for various robotic applications The project begins with a comprehensive review of the Klann mechanism's fundamental principles and existing implementations. Though iterative design and analysis processes,a novelKlann mechanism is developed,tailored to meet specific locomotion requirements. The mechanism’s key design parameters. such as leg length. link angles, and actuation methods, are carefully considered to optimize its performance Also discuss the spider mechanism (Klan’s mechanism) for any random movements, whenever the transformation by wheel is not possible. In these aspects. the proposed assembled spider mechanism (Klan’s mechanism) for any random movements in hectic places.li can step over curbs, climb stairs or travel areas that are currently not accessible with wheels. It is very useful to the patrolling purpose in army.
