Title

Performance analysis of AODV, OLSR, DSR, and DSDV Routing Protocols using NS3 Simulator

Abstract

Routing the packet and selecting protocol are the primary design strategies in any wireless network. In Mobile Adhoc Network, data integrity and data delivery are the primary challenges. Hence the performance analysis of the protocols is the major step before selecting a particular protocol. In this paper, the analysis is carried out on Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV), Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Adhoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocols using NS3 simulator. The common measures used among all types of protocol to measure the performance are delay, throughput, and packet delivery ratio
