Title

Administrative divisions under Imperial Cholas In Kaveri River Basin

Abstract

Imperial Cholas strengthend and developed the Karnataka Tamil political and Cultural ties during the period 10th to 12th CE. The bilingual was the potent weapon for them to win the confidence of the inhabitants of the conquered territories. The Tamil language as such attained its highest peak in southern Mysore specially T NarasipurTaluka of Mysore district and Chamarajnagar District. In this paper an attempt has been made to through light on mudigondacholamandalam and Nigaralicholamandalam.
