CRITICAL PEDAGOGY IN ACTION: ENCOURAGING SOCIAL JUSTICE THROUGH EDUCATION

Abstract

This article explores the practical application of critical pedagogy as a means to promote social justice within educational settings. It examines the theoretical foundations of critical pedagogy and its relevance to contemporary teaching practices, emphasizing the role of educators in facilitating critical consciousness among students. Through a series of case studies, the article illustrates successful strategies for integrating critical pedagogy into the classroom, including fostering open dialogue, incorporating diverse perspectives, and encouraging student activism.
