This article examines the fundamental values of human rights—dignity, equality, justice, and liberty—as crucial foundations for cultivating a just, equitable, and peaceful society. It analyses the inherent characteristics of these values, highlighting their universality and inalienability across diverse cultures and settings. The analysis explores philosophical and ethical viewpoints, using the perspectives of Kant, Locke, and Rawls, to emphasise the moral principles that support human rights. Moreover, the research examines the pragmatic obstacles in actualising these principles inside systemic structures. The study emphasises the interrelation of these values in fostering a just and inclusive global community that enables human flourishing.
