Title

IoT Based Automatic Bed for Differently-abled

Abstract

The Internet is dramatically evolving and creating various connectivity methodologies. The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of those methodologies which transforms current Internet communication to Machine-to-Machine (M2M) basis. Hence, IoT can seamlessly connect the real world and cyberspace via physical objects that embed with various types of intelligent sensors. A large number of Internet-connected machines will generate and exchange an enormous amount of data that make daily life more convenient,help making a tough decision and provide beneficial services.we aim to design a smart bed that could be used as an aid for bed ridden people.The bed is made up of a number of modular sections(hexagonal stools) that can be moved around to create different positions according to command given by user via internet.The individual stools that make up the bed are motorized allowing them to be raised and lowered using servomotors..Each element of the module can be controlled through any device which is connected to internet. Proposed project uses Internet of things technology,so that each modular section of the bed can be controlled from any part of the world. The communication between user and bed via internet is defined I a specific protocol,this ensures security and reliability.Also the project aims to provide an app which includes a series of predetermined three-dimensional shapes to choose from,this facility is provided to ensure user-friendliness.
