Title

Design of Efficient Golay Encoder for Deep Space Missions

Abstract

Linear feedback register (LFSR) based CRC and hardware architecture based on CRC were the two approaches we had for generation of binary golay code (23,12) . in this paper lets go on with new and different approach for the same to overcome the disadvantages of binary golay code (23,12). This new design has been verified to have efficient hardware to generate extended golay code(24,12) with high speed, lesser area , low latency, low power architecture.
