Coastal areas like Andhra Pradesh with high population growth, migration potential and higher population density. Further, the adverse impacts of human and physical, agricultural and industrial activities along the coast of Andhra Pradesh were examined. In this study, a specific environmental assessment method for integrated coastal zone management is used to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the coastal zone. In this regard, internal and external factors scored 2.17 and 5.4, respectively. This explores the abundance of weaknesses over strengths and also shows that the opportunities outweigh the threats. Subsequently, 20 strategies were developed and the quantitative strategic planning matrix method was also used to evaluate each strategy. The results of the quantitative strategic planning matrix analysis were programmed into the strategic position and action evaluation matrix. The current situation falls under the "competitive" classification. This indicates a weakness in the coordination of development and environmental strategic plans. The result of this study is an emphasis on the compilation of strategic environmental plans for population control, pollution emissions and changes in spatial planning. Important strategies include the development of environmental regulations and better oversight of law enforcement.
