Title

THERMO - DIFFUSION ON CONVECTIVE HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER FLOW ROTATING FLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIUM PAST A VERTICAL POROUS SURFACE

Abstract

This study examines the combined effects of Hall current and thermo-diffusion on convective heat and mass transfer in a viscous, rotating fluid flowing through a porous medium past a vertical porous plate. The Hall current, induced by a magnetic field, alters fluid velocity and modifies heat and mass transfer rates. Thermo-diffusion, driven by temperature gradients, couples heat and mass transfer processes, impacting concentration distributions. The rotation introduces Coriolis forces that affect flow stability and boundary layer development. The porous medium adds resistance and enhances surface area, while the vertical plate orientation influences natural and forced convection. These interactions create complex transport phenomena, relevant for various industrial and environmental applications.
