Abstract
The ligand 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy benzaldehyde-N(4)-phenyl thiosemicarbazone was synthesized and characterized by partial elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, and 1H NMR spectral techniques. Zinc(II) complex of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy benzaldehyde-N(4)-phenylthiosemicarbazone of formula Zn(HMBP)2 also synthesized and characterized by partial elemental analysis, FTIR and UV-Vis spectral techniques. Molar conductance measurements show that the non-ionic nature of complexes.
