Title

Organocatalytic approach for enantioselective total synthesis of anti-epileptic and anti-seizure drug (+)-lacosamide

Abstract

A short and highly efficient enantioselective synthesis of (+)-lacosamide 1 from 3-methoxy propanal 2 in five high yielding steps, using L-proline catalysed α-amination, and acid-amine coupling as a key steps.
