In this paper, the machining performances of near dry EDM such as material removal rate, tool wear rate and surface roughness are investigated on its process parameters. A Taguchi OA L9 is used to design the experiment with three process parameters such as discharge current, duty factor and tool rotational speed. Effect of each process parameters on the machining performance is analysed and evaluate the significant process parameters. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed and determine the percentage of contribution of each process parameters on the machining performance. It was observed that discharge current is the most significant and highest contribution parameter. A non-linear regression analysis is carried out and developed mathematical regression model for each machining performance. All the regression model has minimum percentage of residual error. A confirmation test is conducted and validated the experiment.
