Software testing is the process of executing and evaluating the software with the aim of finding out the errors. It plays a significant role in the software development life cycle. Different techniques and methods are used for software testing like white box testing, black box testing and grey box testing. Considering the meaning and principles of software testing, the paper focuses on white box testing and black box testing. The paper further examines the various forms of white box testing and black box testing. Comparison between both the white box testing and black box testing is also studied and focused upon.
