Title

An efficient protocol for the synthesis of 4-arylmethylidene-2-phenyl-5(4H)-imidazolones using HClO4-SiO2 as a heterogeneous catalyst under solvent-free conditions

Abstract

An efficient protocol for the synthesis of 4-arylmethylidene-2-phenyl-5(4H)-imidazolones using HClO4-SiO2 under solvent free conditions is described. The catalyst works under heterogeneous conditions and can be recycled. Antibacterial and antifungal activities performed for the all synthesized compounds.
