This research paper is based upon on the case study done on a DISCOM to study impact of two schemes firstly 11KV rural feeder segregation and secondly HVDS on AT&C losses, before and after implementing the said schemes. Feeder segregation involves the separation of the mixed load feeder (i.e. domestic, agricultural, commercial etc load on single feeder) into two feeders for the same category of consumers namely, domestic load feeder and agricultural load feeder, whereas HVDS is defined as high voltage distribution system which includes the supply of electricity to the consumer end without LT or using minimum LT with armored cable
