ADVAITAVADA VERSUS SPINOZA'S MONISM

Abstract
In this paper I have tried to find a comparison between Advaitavada's Brahman-the one real entity with Western philosopher Spinoza's Monism, where he also talked about one reality called Substance. Both at different periods of time have thought on the same lines. This is quite interesting. Irrespective of West or East perhaps the underlying truth is same every where, both of which talk of an equality amongst all. And on accepting such a view we can live in peace and harmony only to make the world a better place to live in.
