The process of converting the spoken words into simple written text is called as speech. This type of mechanism is used in Biometrics and various other applications like smart interaction, smart search etc. These operations are being performed for current environment security and interaction needs. In existing research the speech recognition is being used for authentification purpose. Where any speech is matched to training set using HMM model. Based on this HMM based approach proposed research has been done. Proposed research is done for speech recognition using Maximum entropy based technique. It performs the search based on horizontal matching of inputted speech sample to the large dataset. Proposed approach has out perform the existing HMM based technique. The matching percentage has grown in the maximum entropy based Horizontal matching.
