As an improvement in technology beyond the past has led to more circulation of fake currency in today’s economy. So need to implement such a technology to overcome the counterfeit currency issues. Here template matching algorithm is used for checking the counterfeit currency. Firstly extract the feature from original currency then select another currency for comparison with the feature extracted from the original currency, if more than eight features are matched then display the result as real currency otherwise display fake currency
