This Paper aims to explore the centrality of middle-class mothers in the education of their school-going children in urban Ghaziabad. The narrative accounts of fifteen stay-at-home mothers of school going children present interesting details and aspects of their daily routine and challenges pertaining to their children’s educational achievement. The physical, emotional and mental involvement with the children of primary and secondary school emerged as a challenging work for the mothers in the study.
