Title

DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF CoxMg1-xFe2O4 FERRITE SYSTEM

Abstract

The ferrite samples CoxMg1-xFe2O4 with x= 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 were synthesized by ceramic technique. The dielectric properties such as dielectric constant (ε׳), ac resistivity (ρac), dielectric loss (tan δ) and complex dielectric constant (ε״) of ferrite samples were studied as a function of frequency as well as cobalt content. The significant changes in dielectric parameters in these samples are explained with the help of Maxwell-Wagner interfacial polarization and Koops phenomenological theory.
